Kevin Stack
LEED Faculty, Northeast Natural Homes
Kevin is an ecological builder, Biomimicry Institute Speakers Guild member and BaDT (Biologist at the Design Table), LEED Faculty™, and visiting faculty at SUNY ESF and OCC, teaching Building in Nature’s Image and Ecological Building. Kevin conducts trainings and speaks nationally about Biomimicry, Ecological Performance Standards, and anthropogenic standards like LEED. His projects include developing Ecological Performance Standards, funded research in resilient buildings, creating natural infrastructure, and a diversity of LEED coordination, Rater, and ecoliteracy projects.
Kevin created and teaches a unique Building in Nature’s Image training based on ecology, building science, and human measures of sustainability, including the LEED portfolio of rating systems. His credentials include being a LEED for Homes Green Rater, a NAHB Verifier, RESNET-certified HERS rater, past national USGBC LEED for Homes Core Committee member, and builder of the first LEED for Homes certified project in NY.
